6 teams Successfully ADVANCE into the 2nd Round of LEAGUE CUP             

As the league seasons come close to ending, CSL League Cup is in full swing.  The continued success on the field has seen 2 RSMSC teams clinch League Championships (gu16 and bu10) and 3 others still contending for promotion (bu9-bu13-gu12).  While the League Cup tournament started with the olders two weeks ago, the youngers hit round one and RSMSC teams saw 6 in total advance out of round one (gu10-gu11-gu12-gu13-gu15-gu16).  Whether its league play or league cup RSMSC has shown promise with the youth development system it employs, the relationship with our community partners is well apparent and the success on the field has been where our players have shown the most progress under the new technical direction of the entire staff.  Each team in their own right has done things well over the course of this past season but shining moments have been their for others which has been good for our club as a whole.  "We don't hold any one team higher than the next, we look to show progression with every player and every team equally as we are ONE as a club"  stated DOC-Technical Director Shaun Harris. 
 
The teams who advanced into the second round were GU15 and GU16 well done to the both of them.  This past weekend the GU10 who have been looking for their opportunity all year will look to take their success this past weekend into second round games this weekend.  The GU11 team as one of the top teams from a year ago were granted a first round bye.  The GU12 team posted two straight shutouts 4-0 and 2-0 on the road to deservedly earn a second round draw in Orange County.  The GU13 team has been one of the most improved teams from a year ago, also advanced with a confident win and a steady draw to secure their spot of top of their group.  So congrats to ALL 6 RSMSC who have advanced into the second round of the CSL League Cup tournament, we wish everyone the best of luck this weekend.  GO RSMSC!!!
